File Architect

File Architect is an app that allows you to create file and folder structures from plain text. Write what you want and nest with tabs, hit create and generate everything on your disk. Local, private, and fast.

What started as a small personal tool became a full app with features like AI-generated structures, advanced copy/move/rename operations, valid blank files (not broken 0-byte stubs), a plain-text templating system, and an open-source CLI engine — all in a lightweight, minimal app.

Keeping files organized shouldn’t be slow or complex. Text is a simple, predictable interface that mirrors the result you want, reduces UI friction, and fits naturally with modern AI workflows.
